At 3:00 PM today musicians throughout the country are invited to play "Taps" on their front porch to commemorate the lives that have been sacrificed over all the years by our veterans. This is the second year I will have participated and my sons are both going to do so and explain to their young children the true "meaning" of Memorial Day. I hope many of you will choose to join this effort and let the people in your neighborhoods appreciate this country-wide effort.

I will join in this memorial with you! Such a simple thing to do in honor of those who gave their lives for us. Hopefully, it helps us all realize how much we owe to them. I played it last year on my trumpet and had positive comments from some of the neighbors. We are truly fortunate here.
