It has been downgraded. However far more to do. Assuming it is/was bad. i had previously done it so mine was not too bad. Cut plants back from your home.
Store a quantity of water for drinking and a quantity of water, to flush the toilets.
Charge your electronic stuff. Find your flashlights, batteries etc. We do not have gas. We, years ago were without electricity for a week. I have coleman lanterns. Finding the fuel, mantles will likely be tough now. They are hot and they are not for indoor use as they give off carbon monoxide. Camping in your home is fun the first day after a week it does get tiresome.

Food is not covered by insurance it is likely hundreds of dollars. You may be able to buy ice. We used dry ice. It turns to CO2 not water as it melts. It will turn meat brown it is still edible. Also, it is far colder than ICE. It will likely freeze everything in your refrigerator such as milk. Beware of stuff like drugs.

Life is an adventure, choose to enjoy it.
