Default Personal Weather Station

Has anyone installed a personal weather station anywhere on their property? Where did you install it? Did you need ARC approval to do it?

Thanks in advance for any responses!

Get a flag pole and place the wind and temp sensor there. At 20 feet it's probably higher than you were thinking mounting it anyways. It is certainly not large or unsightly.

I have an Ambient 2902B weather station. Had it for about 3 years. Personal Weather Station Dashboard | Weather Underground

It's off the side of the house overhanging the grass. Can't be seen from the street and I doubt there would be any "rule" against unless it was attached to your garage but haven't seen the 2 ladies driving a golf cart with the clip board recently either.

My rain gauge has broken, so I guess it's time to get my own, real, weather station. Is there a club in TV for amateur weather people?

Plus at 20 feet, you will be able to attract more lightening strikes.
