Default Village clubs

I plan to move here next summer but for now I am staying at a friends home for another two weeks. She has put me on the guest list and I have the visitor pass. She is not here now so it is just me. I know how to find the activities through the Village app,
I have picked up the printed version as well from a recreation center. Is there any other source for finding activities? The amount of clubs is overwhelming. I see there are contact names and phone numbers for a clubs leader I believe. Here is my actual question. Is it best to contact them prior to showing up for an activity? Do people just show up unannounced at activities if they haven’t participated before or are using a guest pass? As this will be my future home I want to be welcome. I don’t want to just show up and then feel foolish for not knowing what the protocol is.
Thanks for any advice 😊

The protocol probably depends on the club, several require prior training or other activities before joining (wood working, glass fusion, etc.) others have no prior training or introduction requirements. IMHO, call the contact person and ask them if you can just 'drop in'.
