Default Garage or golf Carts

Would like to know if anyone had a regular 2 car garage with a 4 foot stretch to the side

How comfortable is the space in the garage with 1 car and 2 golf carts

I you are careful you can park 2 golf carts in the area normally occupied by one car, you have 4 additional feet, so I would think you would be fine. However, you did not mention if there are or will be storage in this area, if you need get access to either golf cart without moving the car or other cart, or any other restrictions. If you have sketch of the floor plan of your proposed house, make scale sketches of the items going into the garage, and the car and the 2 carts and see how they fit.

I have a 4 foot stretch to the side, but also an area 4'x10' stolen from the inside of the house (40 square feet from the inside)...I have a Gardenia. I have friends with a Camilla, and we can't figure out exactly where the 40square feet came from inside, when we compare our floor plans.
I can tell you that wherever it came from, we don't miss it, and I really like the extra garage space.

We were looking last winter, and I wanted the golf cart garage, but couldn't find one in a house that met our other desires. This seems to work just fine for one car and two carts, plus some room for a work bench and storage of yard tools.

without the extra 40square feet, it would still accommodate the car and the two carts just fine, but with less room for the workbench and tools. If I were still looking, I would still want the golf cart garage if I could find one that had all of the other things I wanted.
But the stretch is really nice, if that's what you can find and you like everything else about the home.
IMHO.

IMO Some two car garages really aren’t two car garages cause the furnace takes up space, but they are 100 time’s better that 1 1/2 garages which are really half car garages.

When I bought my home they said it had a stretch 2 car garage. I said that is a stretch to call that a 2 car garage.

We can easily park our Prius on the side that has the air handler and two carts parked nose to tail on the other.

I did, however, add a golf cart addition so that I could free up space to work in my garage. Extra garage space will never be regretted.

We have this type of garage. We've put a lot of shelving on the walls and they are recessed inside the door opening.

I'm not sure you could get two carts and a car unless you did the carts end-to-end. While I haven't tried, I would think side-by-side carts would be difficult.

We do 1 car inside, 1 golf cart inside, and even find a couple of bikes impossible unless we put them in front or behind the golf cart.

Then again, If you kept one side clear, then maybe two carts would work fine.
