Have seen ads for this company in the local newspaper , just wonder if anyone has had any experience

Be sure of what you have, depends on which section you live in. Zoysea is Empire zoysea, there are other zoysea grasses. Saint Augustine, I'm not sure of the variety used in the Villages but again there are several varieties.

MY VIEW-few improve the soil before rolling out sod. Most of the soil in the villages is sandy clay with a ph of 7-8. Soil for grass should be ph of around 6.5 and have far more organic matter. Too many to to build a lawn with a very poor foundation.
