First day on a looong time here in TV that I felt cold. Driving back from Fenney Rec Center this morning, I actually HAD to put my car seat heater on. Boy did THAT feel good. And back home, with long pants but short sleeves, on will go the sweater now- even tho the inside temp is the same as usual.

Have been a Florida guy for 15 years now, and I guess it's official. When the temp is under 65...yikes, chilly. And of course, playing golf early Monday morning. Shiver, bundle up.

Not complainin', but nice not having those 95 humid days...

Come Nov. through March down here, I have to keep checking the calendrer
to make sure I'm on the same planet that has Wisconsin my native state on it.........

Also, when my wife talk to her sisters on the phone when it's warm here in winter, she never
brags about the weather down here because she don't want to hurt their feelings.

I'm loving this cooler weather. Why is it that even if the inside temperature is the exact same in the summer and winter, it still feels cooler when it is colder outside? I will never understand that phenomenon.

As an example, in the winter months, we must have the warm Velux blanket on our bed even though we keep the interior temperature of our home the same as if it were 95 degrees outside. Sometimes, I even put light flannel sheets on the bed in winter months even though the interior temperature of our home is the same as it is in summer. Why is that?

I can't figure that out either. In the summer we keep the a/c at 79 during the day, 76 at night, mostly because elderly dog with LarPar cannot regulate his temp adequately. We're usually freezing inside.

In the winter, 79 & 76 would be waaaay too hot inside. It's more like 72 & 70.

Everyone in my family has always turned the heat down to the lowest temp in Boston (55) before they went to bed .. I spent most of my life in tropical climates and have been in Florida over 20 years I don’t think the heat goes on more then a couple of times during winter and only for short time and I can’t ever understand putting the heat on while sleeping in fl. You can acclimate yourself to colder weather just like you can in the summer by getting outside more.

My wife and I attended an evening barbecue Saturday before last, outside the bubble. About 20 people total, most wearing jackets, sweaters, hooded sweatshirts, etc. We showed up in shorts and light shirts and were perfectly comfortable. We did get a few looks.

Inside we handle it the same way we did when we lived up north (at least, when we had central air). Summers = 78 during the day, 76 at night. Cold weather: 68 or 70 during the day, 65 at bedtime.

The difference between inside and outside is much more profound for us down here in the summer than it is in the winter. Summertime it's instant sweat for me outside. The humidity really bothers me. Wintertime in Florida is a cakewalk. Sweat shirt, thermal leggings or bluejeans, maybe my hoodie and if it's under 50 my winter coat's inner shell (the outer shell is thinner and water-resistant), it's all good.

We always have a thin blanket on the bed, I can't sleep without one. Wintertime is when we put the quilt on, but beloved spouse always pushes his half of it to my side.

2am to 7:30 this morning we were standing in Animal Kingdom, handing out water for 1/2 marathon. Wore jeans, all weather long sleeve shirt, and light jacket. Had to take off the jacket for awhile, it was just little too warm. Temp when we finished was 50. listening to the lions roaring just around the corner, May have raised our temp a little

Helps when most of your life was spent in hockey arenas, with zero heat, watching both boys, and girl playing hockey. This little cold snap, is like summer compared to those days

Other than the rain, this "cold" (hahahaha) snap is perfect fall weather.

We’ve been in Florida 24 years, coming from NY, and I’m cold now when it hits 50’s and lower.

In NY I never zipped my coat until it was below 32.
