Anyone know why this information isn’t published for the upcoming week in the recreation news? You would think one shouldn’t have to learn about it from TOTV?

Probably because scheduling notifications won't work well with doing it every Thursday. A better way is to sign up for e-Notifications from The Villages to your email address.

- Go to districtgov.org
- Scroll down the Home page and you will see "Sign up for e-Notifications" box on the left hand side. Click on the box.
- Complete the info for your name and email address.
- Keep scrolling down to select what notifications you want to receive.
- There is a section "Schedule Updates & Closings" where Rec Centers, golf courses, etc. are involved.
- Then click the Sign Up box at the bottom and you will get notifications going forward that you want.

Hope this helps.
