The Sandhill executive golf course will reopen on Dec. 30. This follows the completion of the capitol greens renovation project. The greens were fully renovated with drainage, new soil and planted with Tif-Eagle Bermuda grass.

I never really understood why it had to be rehabbed ahead of many other execs that are continually suffering but remain open. Can't recall Sandhill being in bad shape. Was it some sort of environmental or drainage problem that needed fixing?
