Are there bakery’s in the area that have sugar free or Low sugar bbirthday cakes?

I hope not! The one time of the year to take extra insulin and enjoy the birthday cake at our age!

You can buy sugar free, cake mixes at any grocery. We had one made at a bakery and it was their first time making one. Not a winner.

Normally I bake from scratch, but monk fruit has become very expensive, So I’ll take the box mix any day, moist, and great flavor. I get vanilla, and make one couple times a month. No diabetes in our house, just doing balance of less sugar

I recently made the box sugar free cake you're referring to and very good for box cake.

What is the sugar replacement in these products. Some of the faux sugar proucts don't work well for me.

Beware. What is sugar free? A box mix, must tell you what is in it. A bakery, may substitute, grape juice, apple juice, maltose. They are all sugar. They just are not cane sugar.
