Default Stuff for sale on peoples lawns....

is a no-no per vcdd rules.

so a neighbor let a stranger park his golf cart for sale on their back lawn(abuts Pinellas place). not allowed. gone now. in it's place is a bike for sale chained to a light post on their property. they don't know whose bike it is. I'll give it a day and with the homeowners permission I will cut the lock and bring it to the police station. I took the for sale sign off of the bike and hopefully the owner will get the hint.

there will be the name callers for upholding the rules and everyone knows the villages will do nothing unless a complaint is made. so to those folks who don't understand the life style we bought into for a reason....follow the rules, regs and ordinances you signed into...or just move on....I prefer a neighborhood where people have consideration for others and that we don't mind neat and clean.

Probably not on owner’s property.
Some how I just don’t see how this is right, cut and remove.
Oh well, vigilante justice.

Why not just make a complaint. Seems like a better option rather than appointing oneself an enforcer.

Sounds like a Walter Mitty tale.

If it’s a men’s bike with an extra large frame than I might be interested. What are the specifications on the for sale sign you took off the bike?

I think I detect a trend...wasn't this the same poster who blocked lanes to prevent zipper merges when he thought people had gone far enough in the reducing lane?

Since you are the self proclaimed Villages police, could you please provide your contact information so we all can contact you with all the worthless violations we feel we see.

Right on! A neighborhood can go to s%$t real fast. I moved from a crappy, unsafe hood, trust me, you don't want it here too. There is a sign on the walk through corridor near where I live directing the potential human using the knee wall as a toilet to kindly use the nearby rec center bathroom! Don't take the beauty here in TV for granted! It may sound snobby but there is a reason why we pay more to live here than a sane person would pay.
