Default Is somebody stealing the rakes from bunkers ?

It seems that many bunkers on the championship courses have 1 or 2 rakes at most. If they want the bunkers raked, it might help if they put a few more out there and it might help speed up play around the greens.

This suggestion on this site will get no results.

I doubt it, I haven’t seen too many golfers around here even touch a rake.

You mean those rakes aren’t complementary for the taking as part of the $68.48 green fees? Dam, I was getting two dollars a piece for them at the garage sale.

Wrong, you leave the rake IN the trap here in TV.

Funny how you jumped to the conclusion that stealing was the cause. Shame on you

I rake traps! I am saying that a large sand trap should have more than 1 or 2 rakes to facilitate that. Please. From other posts on this site speaking with the staff at the courses does little good as well. I was thinking a site about golfing in the villages might get some attention from the people who own the courses.

Rakes should be placed back in sand trap after use. Pictures of rake placement at every starter shack

Missed his point.

(& side of trap does NOT mean outside of trap)

The old saying is leave the bunker better than you found it. Unfortunately not many golfers these days care enough to rake bunkers anyone.

Need at least 4 rakes per trap. Rarely there
