Well……probably………but maybe that squirrel is thinking, “Attitude is everything.” And squirrels are smart little gangsters so maybe he has a plan.

Well, the odds are you are right, TommyT……….unless…….the squirrel actually spots — or at least can convince Eagle Eye — a plump, far more delicious, and yes, I have to say it — dumb bunny is hopping by.

Hasenpfeffer, tonight, honey!

…..”Here comes Peter Cottontail, hoppin’ down the bunny trail”…..

Default Another precinct heard from……..

Here I am again — messing around in this thread when I should be doing something else……

And so……I just showed Mr. Boomer the picture and he loves it. Then he said his money is on the squirrel because from that position, the eagle cannot out-maneuver the squirrel — and both animals know it.

Thanks again, alemorkam, for sharing your gift with us.

I once watched red tail hawk pull squirrel out of nest in top of tree. Flew up about 200 feet and dropped squirrel. I suspect the squirrel started biting. When squirrel hit the ground it took off running like nothing happened. IMO raptors will only take squirrel as last resort due to risk of getting hurt. IMO why there so many squirrels I once counted 17 in my back yard in Okieland.

When they started chewing on my house and SUV there was lot less….
