Here are a couple of examples of people who seem to think because they have the right to do these things they do instead of being courteous to those they affect by doing so.
1) Yesterday I was getting off the golf cart bridge over the turnpike on the Meggison side of the bridge. When I entered the golf cart roundabout there was a woman walking in the middle of the path taking her time while taking pictures. This was impeding the flow of traffic on the roundabout. Some were beeping their horns and she looked back not caring. 2) There is a guy in Hawkins that walks his dog daily around a pond where houses are . Most of these houses are occupied. I happen to be in my yard one day and asked him why he felt walking there was his choice over walking around the preserve less then a 1/4 of a mile away. He said because he wants to. |

I would invest my time in things that enrich my life or give me joy, not complaining about trivial issues to strangers.

I think some are just looking for law suit. As for as dog walking he can’t cross private property to access common area. If the area has common access it would be none of my business, but that me. |

What, exactly, did you expect? You did not ask a question, you did not give a warning for others, you did not ask for advice.
You came here to complain, nothing more. To further make a trivial mater Uber trivial you complained about two strange, rare, and bizarre singular events as examples of entitlement. Besides my earlier advice I also extend this pearl of wisdom to you: always remember the onus is on you to communicate in such a way that the reader understands what you want. What I've gotten from you is you want to complain about utterly nothing and have someone agree with you. |

I try to remind myself, when I read posts like this one, that there are over 100,000 residents here now. 5% of the general population is supposed to be sociopaths. So, that means we can expect 5,000 Village residents to be sociopaths, who do what they want when they want and have no consideration or empathy for others. So, they act entitled.
That leaves 95% 95,000 residents that are "normal" (relatively anyway - all things considered) and in fact want to be good responsible neighbors. It is very hard for me to ignore that 5% - they can be very irritating. |

Some people are oblivious to anything around them whether on a path, in a car or in an isle at a grocery store. As for dog walking if there are on common land and are cleaning up after the dog then irate is what it is.

Like visiting parents and their child running across to a golf course pond to show the grandkid an alligator while a men's golf tournament is going on and balls flying toward them oblivious - is a perfect example.
