We are new to The Villages. With so many different companies, and so many different ideas about what you need and don’t need for termite and bug services, we have become a little confused. We are looking at Superior or Regal for service. Any suggestions would be welcome!

I don't know about those companies, but the two major companies that do the initial termite soil protection for the new houses in The Villages are Massey and Dean's. The initial treatment provides a 5 year renewal contract and then can be rewritten for a longer period after that.

Same...........don't know the OP's two companies.

We have had Massey for the 2 plus years we are here and happy with their pest protection.

A lot of that is the technician who is doing the work. Same guy doing a good job.

We had Massey for irrigation and fertilizing and dropped them after a year. For irrigation the place was a turnstyle and in a year had 5 different technicians doing it 5 different ways costing us a lot of dollars in irrigation water.

I look at termite protection as insurance so if the home is damaged you want the service company to be liable for the damages.
For other bugs I spray the outside and inside my self and have no problems. The outdoor spray also covers termites but I have a seperate termite company for the insurance side. They also do an inspection once a year and every 5 years and outside long term treatment at an extra charge.

I also do my own bug protection around the house.
I use Dean's for termite protection. Once a year treatment with termite guarantee.

Stay away from Superior. They’re okay for bugs but their lawn service sucks. They also require a year contract paid in advance.

We’re using Dean’s and we’re happy with their service.

Arrow is excellent for bug and lawn fertilization. They recently bought Falcon.
