Yup they're happy little fekkers these days, I watched one hanging out on my kitchen window the other night while I was doing the dishes. You could break out in a nasty rash if you touch them (I didn't know that and thankfully didn't break out in a rash when I picked one up), but from what I hear if you wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water and take a swig of kiddie benadryl it'll minimize any discomfort.

If you're sitting outside and they come around, beware, they will leap onto and cling to your face or bare skin. I usually don't see them until dusk.

It reminds me of the Coqui frogs where we used to live in Hawai'i. Noisy little critters.

Default What is this?

It’s a Cuban tree frog. They’re invasive to our ecosystem since they eat native frogs and lizards.

It hopped on my arm and stuck there pretty well. Very soft and sticky feeling to the touch. Didn’t cause a rash though. I was guessing a Cuban Tree Frog. Just wondering it it was toxic.

We had them when we lived in West Palm Beach and now we have them here. Nice to know what they are called, for years the wife and I just called them “sticky frogs”.
Had contact with them a few times jumping on me but never got a rash from them. Cute little guys.

They are kind of like Spider-Man. I had one on my dining room slider and the photo I took looked like it was crawling up the cord to my light fixture…optical illusion at its finest. Ribbit!

That’s Kermit, he lives above our front door and croaks good morning just about every day.

It’s a Cuban tree frog, an invasive species from… guess where? They will defecate all over your walls and pavement as well as nesting around gutters and above windows and in the door jambs of your cars. I believe the state directs euthanizing them when possible.
