Almost no credit this month. Natural gas is spiking and it’s going to get worse. At least happy my natural gas futures up 22 percent in two days.

We anticipate the continuation of cost increases and supply chain interruptions. Ultimately, these factors will result in our members paying more for their energy needs – just as we at SECO find ourselves paying more for the materials we buy to construct new services and maintain existing infrastructure.

Between 8% and 9% on June bill, same as other months. Haven't seen July bill yet.

There has been no change in Seco's rate per KWH, but the Hot Bucks credit is vanishing.

For our all-electric house, last years' billing period: 6/07/21 to 07/08/21: 31 days, 1206 KWH used, $167.72, less Hot Bucks credit of $23.64.
This years billing period: 06/07/22 to 07/08/22: 31 days, 1286 KWH used, $178.13, less Hot Bucks credit, $3.86.

Not on point but since escalation of costs, noted that my propane for the BBQ has not gone up. I am happy but can not believe it.

When the credit is gone rates will rise. Few paying attention. Natural gas etf up over 40 percent in a week. No avoiding Much higher bills.

Seems like to me, no one cares about utility rates that are going up. Bank account are getting broke daily, when will this end!

Seems people are confusing electric and gas SECO is electric and is a coop. The coop is designed to break even or refund the difference by adjusting Hot Bucks. TECO is a gas for profit company.

Any profits SECO makes are refunded in either hot-bucks or reduced rates. Questions call the utility, they are very helpful.
