Default Yankee Clipper opened today

Yankee Clipper executive course reopened today after being closed for a few months.

The first thing this morning, I looked out my window and there are five golf carts with 5 single players in one of the first groups. Two of the carts were all over the new sod and driving on the fairway on a par 3. Since when do we allow 5 in a group.

So much for taking care of the course.

I wish the ambassadors had some teeth and could do something about it. But hey, can't blame it on snowbirds who seem to always be blamed for things like this on these forums.

Correct. Usually it's the snowbirds that are blamed when there are fivesomes/slow play/poor golf course conditions. Here you have frogs doing their part by driving on fairways on par 3 holes.

If you are that upset call The Villages Golf Administration and voice your concerns. Nothing any of us can do here except to agree or disagree.

Next time call the starter shack and they can notify the ambassador. And yes in this case they have the authority to break up the group and monitor the cart usage.

The starter shack should never of let these many carts in one group.

Why didn’t you call the course for your answers?

One of the five was likely a non playing observer. Did you look for the cart tag given to non players at the starter shack?

Did u see all five playing? Did the ones driving on coarse have handicap permission?
Before u jump to wrong conclusion check with starter. Cause they only let four golfer play at a time
