Default interesting editorial on....

Obama running in 2012.....

"We do not come to this conclusion lightly. But it is clear, we believe, that the president has largely lost the consent of the governed. The midterm elections were effectively a referendum on the Obama presidency. And even if it was not an endorsement of a Republican vision for America, the drubbing the Democrats took was certainly a vote of no confidence in Obama and his party. The president has almost no credibility left with Republicans and little with independents.

The best way for him to address both our national challenges and the serious threats to his credibility and stature is to make clear that, for the next two years, he will focus exclusively on the problems we face as Americans, rather than the politics of the moment - or of the 2012 campaign."

President Obama is totally a political animal. He has done not much in his entire life but run for office and be campaigning. His first TWO years were just about the most political WH in history and if he is running in 2012 this entire two years will be about him using his office, NOT for the country but for his reelection !

PS....This was NOT written by a Republican but by Democrats. They make a great case for why he should announce NOW that he will not run !

Default The only scary part is what they think about the situation.

Nancy Pelosi's decision to run for minority leadership is a good example of what is thought about the will of the people.
For them it is just not an issue. All we can hope is that the rejection by the recent election, the rejection of the countries Obama visited while hiding for 10 days, the rejection by the likes of Pelosi attitude all work toward their demise in the coming days and elections.

I hope and pray we the people do not wain in the ongoing effort to not rest until they are all out of office.

Thankfully she may have some opposition however with all her ALLIES, including the President of the United States, this most liberal of all in congress will probably be back in a leadership roll and making the President so proud.

On the subject of this President...another little hint from Politico this time on this President....

"During unguarded and even some staged — but inadvertently revealing — moments, Obama has allowed unintended glimpses into his thinking. At various times, his offhand comments have led critics, and many voters, to view him as an ardent leftist or an elitist or — most recently — a partisan Democrat."

Read the article for the details of these little slips....this man is EVERYTHING that was predicted and more.

To those liberals who have posted here (most have cut and run), please tell us why this man deserves not just your support but just your simple respect. He has lied so much and been such a terrible leader for this country....tell me what you support. Health bill ? Foreign affairs ? what ?

More on the Pelosi thing....Schuler will contest her spot but in addition...

"Realizing they don’t have the votes to knock the defeated speaker from the top perch in party leadership, moderate Blue Dog Democrats have set their sights a little lower, targeting liberal Pelosi enforcers George Miller (D-Calif.), Rosa DeLauro (D-Conn.) and Louise Slaughter (D-N.Y.), all of whom hold influential jobs because Pelosi has installed them."

By the way, this past weekend, the President was raving about "Nancy"
