Default The Physiology of the Smile

When I first read an article about this, I thought...yeah, right. It said that just the act of curling your lips into a smile would make you feel a sense that something was a bit funny or pleasant. I didn't believe it for a second.

But then on a whim I tried it when I was in an off mood and a smile wouldn't come naturally. Amazingly, it works. Naturally it doesn't change horrible times to glorious times, but the little positive feeling is actually there.

Try it. See if you agree. And if you don't, how much harm did it do for you to just put a grin on your face for a few seconds.
