Exclamation Support for Patriot Service Dogs to WIN BIG!

Hey Villagers,
I'm actively involved with the Patriot Service Dogs (PSD) organization - a small, non-profit that trains and provides service dogs to disabled veterans for free.

So recently, PSD entered a contest being sponsored by Chase and Range Rover to win a new Range Rover and $25,000 and PSD is now one of the finalists ... BUT to win PSD needs everyone's help.

To win this contest PSD simply needs to get the most public votes between Oct. 21st and Nov. 6th and that's where you come in; We are asking you, every member of your family, every one of your friends and everyone of your friends-friends to cast a daily vote. We know we are asking a lot, but if you witnessed the tears of joy veterans shed when receiving a service dog that will literally change their lives we're pretty sure you'd say; Absolutely! I can do that!

So here's how to vote; Once each day, go to

Defender Service Awards | Land Rover USA

- scroll down - and cast your Defender Service Award vote for Patriot Service Dogs.
The only limit is 1 vote per email address per day.

Thank you for your suppport.

Voted today.

My tablet required me to scroll to the left. It looks like there are various categories of these providers and you can vote once per day for the each of the 5 categories of entries.

Five incredible nonprofits have been selected as finalists in the following categories and voting is now open to the public. You may vote once per day per category. Be sure to spread the word and vote for your favorite organization by November 6, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. EST.

Talking Please vote!

I just voted and copied the site address to send myself an email with that address so I would remember to vote every day.

To others who are reading this thread, please vote. It costs nothing!

Thank you for caring, DdHarrold!

I got my vote in today.

"Patriot Service Dogs trains service dogs for veterans without charge. Their dogs are trained to assist with issues such as PTSD, traumatic brain injuries, mobility issues, and Military Sexual Trauma. They support all honorably discharged veterans who would benefit from a service dog, regardless of era of service or combat wounded status. ..."

Meet two of Patriot Service Dogs' greatest supporters, Irving and his wife of 74 years, Bernice. Click here for 1 minute video.

Irving is a WWII veteran of both D-Day and the Battle of the Bulge. This is Irving with a puppy in the program that is named after him.

Not all of the dogs that enter Patriot Service Dogs training are found to possess all the skills necessary to be paired with a veteran. A Bernese Mountain Dog named TANK came up short in his retrieving skills. As luck would have it, TANK and his "goofball personality" landed him a job with the Nassau County Sheriff's Office.

Click here to read about TANK.
