I don't think 13 square feet is correct. I think they meant 130 square feet. The zero makes a big difference.

I would require an expandable cabin. Let’s see, free all-you-can-eat food for a year. I’d average 8 lbs increase each month. So 12 months, 96 lbs. I’d need a suite.

Of course there’s the gym a d running track.

Sure, perhaps 90 lbs then.

And $$$$$ surely does it include tips or excursions. But if one can, go for it. Rent out your TV home for a year to recoup $$$$. Hmm. That suite sounds nice.

If you do a three year cruise you will see the sea. But the ship visits all 7 Continents and 375 Destinations so you will see more than the sea.

They are quoting sq meters I believe 10.764 sq feet per square meter.

So, $60,000 a year for a couple in a 10’x13’ (including bathroom) room without a window. Sounds like something close to prison. Stopping occasionally at ports to have a few hours rushing to several sites or grabbing a few souvenirs for which you have no room in your cabin. Remember Roger Miller’s song “King of the Road”? “Three hours of pushin’ broom gets a 6x9 two-bit room.” I’d rather stay home and look at photos of those places.

Renting our TV home to recoup some of the money is a great idea, as long as the renters don’t take over as squatters for that long a time..and what about all my doctor & dentist appointments? They would write me off. Nope. Guess I’ll stick to 2 week cruises. Enough for me!

My wife and I live in a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house with taxes, electricity and amenities we come in around $12K a year. I cannot imagine spending that type of money to live in a confined space. I spent 3 years on a carrier and have taken many cruises and I find one of the best joys is when it ends you get to go home. A few weeks maybe a month is nice, but a year, not for me.
