Roof Maxx experiences here in the Villages? Has anyone used this company?

I haven’t used it but a home I was interested in had it installed. The roof was 15 years old. I called a few insurance companies and they wouldn’t even give me a quote without having the roof replaced.

Ditto, found that to be the same ! Interesting perspective in Florida. Adult children in two other states did not find the "roof" situation the same. If a roof was found to be sound, it was sound, if not, it needed replacement. No insurance problems tf roof was sound ! And, in one case, this is a location where HEAVY snow and a LOT of ice, as well as hot summer sun, and in the case of the other son, their home is in a major tornado area, so constantly "assault" on the roofs ! Florida, what IS going on here ? Also, none of our adult children have EVER experienced door to door roof salesmen promising "free" roofs... something wrong with this picture for sure.

I contacted Certainteed about this company and similar products. Here is their reply.
