Default Bridge Sinking?????

I can't remember where we were or who told us, but a few days ago someone told us that the bridge on Morse Blvd. crossing Lake Sumter is sinking. Has anyone else heard this?

Greg...haven't heard anything recent. About a year ago there was some substantial structural work done on it with intermittant lane closures, speed reduced to 25, and some repaving. That was supposed to take care of whatever problem was found.

Thanks, maybe that's what they were referring to. Old news.

This might be good news - maybe they will widen the golf cart lanes after it sinks!

The work 07 refers to was designed to decrease the hump in the southbound lanes at the second bridge - it was a real "thank you, ma'm" place.

While it did seem to do that, I've noticed recently that the hump appears to be higher than it was after repairs! I suppose it's possible that the bridge is sinking, still or again!

If you take notice, someone is building an arc on the Left side of the bridge as you travel north. That may indicate cause for concern. I believe I saw it in the TV construction updater. Look under Noah.
