Default LOST GOLF CLUBS........on Sand Hill Sunday evening

We played Sand Hill golf course (Sunday 4/2). We were the last ones leaving the course, right at sundown. I accidentally left 2 golf clubs on hole # 9, right at the green....an all-white Naples Bay 50 degree wedge, and a 9 iron. I can't remember the brand of the 9 iron, but it had a pinkish scroll pattern down on the shaft of club. We called Sand Hill shack, and they said no one turned them in today. I believe my name and address were on them. If you found the clubs, please call me. I would love to have them back. Thank you in advance..... 352-751-7170 Rose

We called yesterday, then went over there...then called again this morning. Actually the maintenance crew should have found them early Monday morning as we were the last people on the course Sunday evening.

Sounds like a good reason to buy a whole new set.

Doubtful. They were likely stolen.

Sorry to relate this, but I had a similar experience on Pimlico years ago. Was alone, late in the day, very last one to finish. Called next morning, was told no, but someone might turn it in and mentioned that there was maintenance still out and they might find it. Called the next day, man said, no, we have nothing that matches that description (ping putter). That EVENING I went over to play, again late in the evening, thinking it was useless, asked employee as I checked in. To my surprise he said, "let me look, I think I did see the one you described". Sure enough. So, just a tip, you might want to go take a look anyway, even if you call and they say no, they don't have it ! They had a LOT of clubs there and often they have to give a quick glance as they are trying to check people in, etc. so can't go into a detailed search. They get so many clubs per week they get rid of them quickly. As they told me, they get so many lost clubs per week that it would quickly take up more room than they have in those small spaces !
