The Villages is not a city of saints. It is a city of old people that live the morals and sexual inclinations they grew up with. This guy is no different and bought a house here. Arrested and more than likely will be convicted and sentenced to prison. At least in Florida they put them in prison for period of time, hopefully a long period of time. A community of our size I'm sure there are many more not just the two you mention. At 75 years old prison could be his death sentence, By my standards thats what it should be anyway.

No matter where you live, city, suburbs or rural, you have to watch your kids like a hawk.Raising my kids in Long Island NY, there were occasional alerts, especially by the school bus pick-ups.

The Villages is not immune from sex offenders. If you check the FDLE sex offender website, you’ll see plenty of sex offenders pictures and their addresses right here in the Villages. Unfortunately, it appears that Sumter County is not keeping up with offender registrations, as one particular offender’s picture hasn’t been updated since 2013. The Sheriff’s Office is responsible to make sure these registrations are up to date. Offenders must register once a year and Predators must register 4 times per year. There are specific rules and regulations Offenders must follow such as: cannot live or recreate within 1000 feet of a school, family swimming pools, parks, etc. Detectives are supposed contact Offenders every 30 days. I worked in a Sex Offender/Predator Unit for a County in Florida where there were over 1000 Offenders…woman and men. If you have questions or concerns…check with The Sumter County Sheriff’s Office.

I's not just The Villages. If you could look up the city where you came from, you might be in for a surprise. There are most likely more child pornography where you came from. You just didn't know about it. It's very sad this is going on.

Earl V Knight on St Andrews in Lady Lake was convicted of having videos of his teenage granddaughters, taken in his house. He got 40 months probation and goes down to Spanish Springs square almost every night and sits in front of Dunkin Donuts with his "buddies". He has no shame (his wife bailed him out and still lives with him).

Search the national offender database. The villages has a lot less offenders than the local non-villages communities.. Basically, people don't change just because they moved here.

The Villages has a lot fewer offenders because there are a lot fewer children. Hard to be an "active" pedophile in a 55+ community where minor children aren't allowed to participate in any recreational activities without an authorized adult present.
