Default Home upgrades BR flooring and Lanai

Looking to buy a previously owned designer house in the villages Approx 1900-1950 Sqft and want to know what is cost to upgrade the BR flooring from carpet to Wood or vinyl floors. I know flooring options pricing vary in price but really looking for a range for budgeting purposes.
Also would want to enclose the lanai using glass with option of opening in nice weather.
Like I said just looking to come up with a budget number. Thanks in advance

A neighbor recently replaced carpet in 2 bedrooms and a hall with vinyl plank for $7,500. They used Floor Masters. In my opinion, if you can match the flooring, so that you have the same flooring throughout the house, you will increase the value of the house.

I don't know about the lanai, but, I would recommend using double pane glass, and expect to pay more than $10K, depending on the size of the lanai. Also, the cheapest way to go is to use floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors, with no wall construction.

12 by 30 lanai just over 30k, without electrical work or raising the floor to be completed next week.

Just did 2 designer homes. As an example, my expanded Jasmine was about $9000 with some really nice LVP from Robertos. I left the tile that was in the baths, kitchen, and laundry. I also left the new carpet we had in the master, to be honest, I don't want to step onto cold floors in the morning. I also think the people who say you have to have the same flooring throughout the house are wrong. In fact the transition from the tile to the plank is very nice, and it all flows wonderfully. So I think it was about 1000 sq ft. I would use $10 a square foot. This included removing the baseboards and replacing them, no quarter round. I would use Roberto's, they are great to work with and stand behind thier work, which is top notch.

As far as the Lanai- we did our 11x20 Lanai, single pane floor to ceiling sliders and it was $12,600 for single pane full length sliders. I love it. Custom windows and doors. Everyone else wants to raise your floor, have no idea why. Custom was the cheapest, and double pane was like $24,000. I have the room so I can open the doors and be "outside" so I love it. I would spend $5000 on a mini split instead of double pane windows. Make sure you get the tinting, it works wonderfully.

BTW- you really don't want to know what a Pergola and bird cage cost, believe me, buy a house that has them done.
