Happy Birthday!

One of the people I admired the most over the 18 years I spent here in the Villages has July 4 as her birthday.

Not sure if she reads Talk of the Villages.

This would be a cool birthday to have though.

I had just turned 17 the day before this happened and learned about it when walking into a extremely downcast remedial English class at Earl Wooster HS which was taught by Mrs. Barbara Mitchell. We had a substitute teacher for a few months.

I had gone into the downtown Reno public library that weekend looking for something to help myself and my fellow remedial English students deal with the investigation into the 2-24-1976 murder but found NOTHING.

Have been looking at libraries every since then to see what they have to help people dragged into the legal system for whatever reason.

And have communicated with an extremely wide range of people and institutions to help fix the problem even though it seems to change all the time due to current events and the like.

I think I have met people who had these birthdays. And April 20 has lots of other people born on that day. George Takei for instance was born on April 20.
