Just noticed it is the Anniversary of her passing on August 31, 1997.

One of my favorites among the British or any other Royal Family.

I remember that as well as the day Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas. I was in Kennebunk, Maine in a short term rental. The landlady, who was of Irish descent, was very cold blooded about it and could not have cared less. She hated the English Royal family. Years later I got to Ireland and discovered why she could feel that way.

A few years later a girlfriend who had lived in Paris took me through Diane's final route. Coincidentally my girlfriend's name was also Diane.
