I volunteer at a local school who is experiencing an influx of portuguese speaking
students and we need tutors to help them with english reading, writing, comprehension, etc.
You must commit to a minimum of 50 minutes one day a week: Tuesday through Thursday.
If you know of others who might be able to assist, please share with them.

No expert here, but Google has language translation capabilities and as I recall there are apps for cell phones that do thesame thing, so if you do not get a volunteer, these may help.

Have a friend who speaks Portuguese. Text him and his reply is get someone who is fluent in pure Spanish, very similar language. Hispanic may be different from pure Spanish.

There is a Portuguese Club in the Villages.
