Default JJ Fins

As winter approaches and TV fills up, it's always nice to have another place off site to go for lunch or dinner. Several people on TOTV have recommended JJ Fins on 441 in Tavares.

We finally had a chance to try it this week. Fins has an extensive menu and great pub fare if you're there between meals. There also pontoon boat rides on the Mt. Dora canal from the dock behind the restaurant. On a warm afternoon, you could do the boat ride and then a nice pub lunch--without moving the car. It's just south of Leesburg on the right hand side of 441, and well worth the 25 minute drive.

P.S. They have several beers on tap, most of the usual domestics and Sam Adams Winter Ale.

Thanks for the tip. I've gone by there many times and wondered about the restaurant. I'll probably try them for lunch sometimes.

They are really good with larger groups also. I have been there twice between 4 - 5 PM and they didn't have a problem seating us. We did call ahead but I don't think it would have mattered. The food and service was very good.
