Default Space junkies heads up!

The further south you are in TV, the better the chance you have of seeing the Axiom splashdown today. The capsule will head over south central FL and land off the coast of Daytona around 8:30 this morning.

I hope to be a Villager this year. I was thinking it would be fun to have a club that would jump in a van and drive halfway to the coast (or all the way). Do you ever drive to Canaveral?

I go quite frequently, but I take my camper and stay at Jetty Park. It's an easy 2 hr drive and the park/campground is right next to the cruise ships entering and leaving.
There's nothing quite like seeing a rocket launch so close that the ground underneath your feet vibrates as the roar goes right over your head. Jetty Park is also a very popular place for viewing booster landings if they land on ground. If they land on water, you can watch the boats bring the boosters back in.
