Default Hearing aids with charger needed for sister....

I've noticed a few times in the past (on social media) that people were offering to give away hearing aids (I suppose from deceased loved ones). I am checking to see if anyone has a set that has the charger. My sister just got tested and desperately needs hearing aids. Unfortunately her insurance doesn't pay nearly enough for them, so I am trying to find them for her. Please let me know if anyone out there has a free set to offer. She can have them reprogrammed (for a fee), to fit her specific hearing needs. Thank you so much....in advance. Rose

Over the Counter Hearing Aids are now available. A new policy a couple of years ago, changed the hearing aid business for ever.

Buying an existing, prescription Hearing Aid and having it re-programmed, will probably cost you almost as much as an OTC product.

With the OTC products, you can program them yourself, in the comfort of your own home.

Jabra makes the best, but they're pricey. Audien & Eargo also make great products, but pricey.

Sony has 2 new products, that have gotten great reviews. One "in the ear canal" with batteries and a chargeable "ear pod" type. They run about $1000 and you can get them from Amazon.
