Default Oakleigh Exec

We played Oakleigh yesterday, open tee time.

The entire course had been “punched” about a week (or so) ago so the greens were slow and bumpy, but they were in good shape disease wise.

The fairways were all in good shape, specially the one on the par 4. They were not “scalped” as we see on many courses.

As a bonus, the tee boxes were all in good shape too !

KUDOS to the maintenance crew working on the course !

Overall , course was in great shape and deserves the “B” rating it was given on the report card .

I agree. Although I live “south” (Cirus Grove) , I enjoy playing (and have played) ALL of the golf courses in The Villages.

I have friends who live north of 466 and I hook up with them in their golf cart and they do the same with me whenever we play below 44.

I agree with you that the execs in the area of the Lopez course are all in great shape.

I’m hopeful that after all of the complaints/commotion AND the extra $$ (A LOT) being dedicated to golf course management and maintenance, we should see a vast improvement.

The finger pointing and blame put on “El Nino” should hopefully come to the end.
