Default Star Sirius charger

Just past the two year warranty period and the $700 charger died. Anyone else having Star charger failures?

If you can get the schematic for the charger, I would be willing to look into repairing it, then you would have a spare.

I have a star cart and charger for 8 years now. Mine where it is plugs into the cart has a week connection. I have to wiggle it side by side until it gets a good connection and then I wedge a flat head screwdriver in between the port and plug to hold the connection. Might be your issue possibly also.

Fix your connection instead of wedging a screw driver, over heating of plug connection could star fire!

I agree with the previous comment, I am sure replacement parts are available, I was able to replace the plug on a Polaris golf cart (no longer made) with a newer model (different brand) plug for both the golf cart and the charger, works much better than the original. In your case I would see which is loose and replace that part or better yet replace both with the same manufacturer parts.
