On SE 79 Clearview Ave. only golf cart entry to first responders rec center allowed. Vehicles have to go up B/V to CR42 turn west to big yellow church and enter that way. I walk around there several times week. About Every time I come out onto clearview someone asking in vehicle how get to rec center that’s 40 yards away. When I explain how to get to parking lot, they look at me in confusion? their answer is my GPS says this way?

The idea I guess when it was built was to limit traffic on clearview ave. IMO should have just let vehicles go in and out clearview avenue cause log jam happens when vehicles have to turn around trying to get to event at FR Rec center.

So if you got plans to visit FRs rec probably need to forget about GPS and look at Google earth to see how to go the long way around to get to parking lot.

Doesn’t the villages app get its information from GPS?

First responders used to be the churches chapel so some gps I guess are confused. I never had any problems I guess because I see the big sign that says First Responders...on the road. It has a long driveway and it's own gate...

The first time we ventured up to 1st Responders, I thought I knew better than the mapping app and came across the cart entrance, then had to renavigate to the other entrance.

I figured a Villages Rec Center would have a motor vehicle entrance from inside The Villages.

I just tried Google Maps. It has you coming in from 42. I don't know what those folks are using that come in the wrong way.

GPS in their cars supposedly route down SE 79th Clearview Ave which at end only has golf cart entry.

I just tried Google Maps and got similar results (Route 42).
