Did anyone with a house 5 years old or less have water in the garage or in the house during or after the Debbie rainapalooza?
Wondering if the recent block built versus solid construction walls or custom versus spec houses show any differences? Thanks and just curiousity more than anything else I will go first: Yes, window on East side and garage wall on South side had water penetrate though cracks in stucco and caulking. Water in garage evaporated within two days. House is 5 years old block custom build. . . first time for any visible water penetration. . Anyone else? |

Iris, 4.5 yr old block custom build, no signs of water penetration.
South and west sides are taking the brunt of the Florida sun. Planning to have someone powerwash, re-caulk and paint @ 5yrs. Any solar tubes/attic fans added? You probably know roof leaks can take paths and appear far from the leak. |
