Default Hawks Bay

We played Hawkes Bay a little over 4 months ago and at that time, the condition of the course was horrendous !

Four months later , we played it again this morning and I have to say that the maintenance crew has been doing a good job in improving the condition of the course .

<Most> of the tee boxes were in very good condition.

<Most> of the greens were also in very good condition. Some had some straw colored areas on them but that did not in any way effect putting. They rolled at a medium speed and the pin placements were very fair (as opposed to the horrendous pin placement on some courses)

So the bottom line, much improved. I would give it B rating as opposed to the C , or less than C from 4 months ago.

Four months from now it may be horrendous again. The pressure will soon mount!
