Default Nail trimming for 6 month old kittens

We had the nails on our 5 month old rescue kittens trimmed when we picked them up 6 weeks ago. The nails have grown fast and are in need of another trim. Any cat owners out there that have this done on an as needed basis? Who do you use and what do they charge? Our vet wants $28 each time for each cat.

If your pets' welfare is your main concern, then $28 per kitty doesn't seem excessive.

We have a "jacket" (look on Chewy for nail trimming equipment) that we put the cats in (they do not like it), and then a guillotine nail trimmer, this is followed by treats and petting.

Amen! Cheap at twice the price!
Or, you could use a belt sander. Don't forget band aides. You'll need them. 😒

We have our cats claws trimmed about every 3 months by their grooming service. They are calm and much more relaxed than when we do it at home. I highly recommend Dez if he is available. You'll have to ask about cost.
