Hi. I am wanting to learn more about ultrasonic transducers and how they are made (A bucket list item for my retirement years). Looking to become acquainted with someone in TV that knows how this is done.

Send me a PM, I have several at the house, and I know of several kits that are available for playing with these, I was in the process of making a water flow sensor but have shelved the project since we will soon be getting new radio equipped meters. I have many parts left over from this project.

As for how they are made, an internet search will get you that information.
