Default Courtyard Villa...Downspout draining

Is there a way we can hide the downspout pipe without burying it into the ground...I would think that was a bad idea so close to the house foundation.

Thank you!

I don't know, but my downspouts discharge onto the concrete, not the stone. That is the way the builder installed them.

Really not sure what diverting it does other than move where it pours on the sidewalk so I would just remove it? All homes I have seen including mine drain close to the foundation so it should be ok. Long term you could see if a spouting company could move the drain spout to another location of the roof which they did when I added whole home gutters? Not much else you can do other than run under the sidewalk and drain on the other side using a pop up emitter to hide it.
