I have a 14 year old Golden with terrible hips. Is there anyone that can recommend a mobile groomer?

Several years ago the Grooms To Go owner used to do two old goldens of ours. One (a 15-year-old sanctuary foster) he had to carry to the truck. Most mobile groomers wouldn't do big dogs back then.

I have seen him in our neighborhood but his truck no longer has that sign on it. But you might be able to Google it and find a number.

Also, there was, and maybe still is, a person at Brownwood Woofgang who would bathe our golden after he couldn't stand long enough to be groomed. She would do a sanitary trim and trim under his ears, but it was with the understanding that she was not a certified groomer. She would get down on the floor with him so he didn't have to stand. And she would carry him to and from the car (back door to the parking lot)--she probably didn't weigh much more than he did. I can't remember her name, but you might give them a call.
