Default Internet providers

Can anyone tell me what internet providers are available that cover the village of Amelia other than XFINITY? XFINITY raised my prices over double from the initial 12 month introductory plan. I don't think Spectrum or Quantum Fiber is available.

Go to the websites for Spectrum, Quantum, TMobile 5G home internet, and Verizon 5G home internet. Enter your address to see if they offer service at your home.

There is no Quantum fiber in Amelia and unfortunately I don't see any addresses qualifying for Verizon or T-Mobile fixed wireless.

I would call Verizon and T-Mobile and ask them is your home qualifies. Sometime the web say No but you can get the service.

Other than that you may be stuck with Xfinity. If that turns out to be the case you can try Xfinity Now for $30/month. Super slow internet but depending on your needs it may work for you. Spectrum has a similar service for $20/month if you can get it.

Just be aware, if you go with Dish, there is a heavy fee to get out of your contract and you own the physical dish so if you ever switch to another carrier they don't take the dish back.
