Default Cheetah speedometer

Been having an issue with my cheetah speedometer on gas golf cart. I inadvertently pushed a wrong button combination and had to reset with the button in the back to get it back to work.
Now everything is correct except my battery voltage reading just bounces all different numbers. Any ideas?

Thanks

I would check the power connections to the device, both the ones in the dash and the ones inside the unit. I have only looked at one of these, but I seem to remember some plugin connectors inside the unit. Also, the typical insulation displacement connectors have been to fail with intermittent connections.

There could be a couple of causes: a bad crimp connection, a problem with your voltage regulator, or a problem with the starter/generator. Without more info or access to the cart that is about all I can provide.
