Don't know if anyone has any firsthand experience with this firm, but I find her videos interesting.

A basic financial plan for $7,000. That's a non-starter for me.

After viewing segments of a few of her videos she expertly markets her financial services. She may be professionally quite capable and is clearly high maintenance as seen by her well tended physical appearance. She likely is bringing in a fortune in fees based on the demographics of the communities in which her offices are located.

Yes, it starts at 0.95 percent and goes down if you have a lot of money. Note that a CFP (certified financial planner) advises on investments, insurance, estate planning, taxes, and retirement. They are not just investment advisors.

My wife and I have some experience with URS. Julia and her husband Eric are very professional and ethical. Very knowledgeable. Fees were $4000 for a very complete plan covering every aspect of planning for retirement. However, if you decided to place money with them fees were waived. I tested their ethics on a couple products / investments I had in our portfolio and they past, even though they could have made substantially if we would have changed. I've interviewed several investment / financial advisors and haven't found any as good and thorough and as them.

OK, I have now watched three of her videos and am impressed by her knowledge and thinking. She presents well and provides much to consider. Thank you OP!

As long as you are happy with one of the annuities they push. See if you can find out the commission they collect on them.
