Gosh, there are many book clubs and writers groups. Take a look at the Thursday section of the Villages Sun. It's available in every rec center. Look at the back part where all the clubs are listed.

There are many more book clubs that are not "official". The only way to know they exists is to meet someone that is a member of a club in the Villages. They usually meet in homes or in the common areas of the Rec centers. Very informal groups. The size of the club are smaller in numbers of members. Since they are not "officially" recognized, it is harder to reserve a regular meeting place in the Rec Centers.
