As can be seen from the graph, deficit spending is a way of life, business as usual in Washington.

The concern for the last two years, the present and the proposed continued spending is the trend. In that regard the current "gang of 545" in Washington is in pretty isolated company.

It is a race in time only which will be the downfall of the USA first. Either the federal government bankrupting the country or an interrupted oil supply from the Middle East. Either will take the country down and so sad to say both are easy to solve. It is just not being done. Business as usual in Washington, DC.
