Prediction: Boehner resigns

Boehner is a Rhino at heart. He wants to settle this shutdown mess so badly he will pass a "compromise" with mostly demo votes, and then under pressure from the tea party he will resign. He does not have the stomach for the battle ahead, and he will know it, after this shutdown vote, and when the battle lines are drawn on the BIG ONE.. raising the debt ceiling limit. If you think the current shutdown issue is a mess, wait for that debt ceiling debate in a couple of weeks.
To quote President Obama:
“The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure,” he said on March 16, 2006. “Leadership means that ‘the buck stops here.’ Instead, Washington is shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and grandchildren. America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership . Americans deserve better. I therefore intend to oppose the effort to increase America’s debt limit.”

COME ON DEMS.. ya know he was right... but now you wanna say he was wrong.
Bet none of you can even attempt to defend him logically on this flip flop. The only honest explanation I have heard on that flip flop was he really did not believe what he said in 2006, he just wanted to vote in a politically correct way.
