Default If you are a push-over beware!

The "ole boy" has a big heart and sometimes gets caught!....Today in front of Publix, 2 men and 3 dogs, did a little pan-handling with a convincing story....Found three dogs in front of their home and didn't have any money for dog food for them....Hmmm!....

Two days before that, at Racetrac, "ole boy" pumping gas, big truck pulls up while I'm inside paying, asks "Ole boy" for some gas money, so he can get his wife home, he just picked her up from the hospital and out of cash!

He is such a good guy, wonder why they never ask me!....Hmmmmm!

While on duty as a fireman, had a guy come in the station and give me the same story about the lack of gas money to pick up his wife from the hospital. I didn't bite.

Default Was wondering if this was a scam!

I admire the ole boy for being so generous and kind BUT feel bad when he is scamed.....I'm sure these two guys (approx. 33 or 35) were scamers also, what was sad, I too am such a sap when it comes to animals, just hope the money was for the sweet little dogs food (3) and not for a drug habit....

Just ask them what kind of dog food would you like me to get for your dogs. I will pay for a couple gallons of gas, But I won't give you any money. Never did have anyone take me up on that offer.

Default Well...I have a confession to make...

I may be a Bad Boy...but...

When I have a panhandler scammer come on to me I can "Size Them Up" pretty quick.

If I'am pretty sure they are "Mis-representing" their Delima I dont say a word.

I just look at them, tilt my head slightly, and have a very "Quizzicle look" in my eye's.

I then point to an ear and shake my head.

If they persist, I start moving my hands around like I'am talking sign Language. (I know NOTHING in sign language).

They just get this disgusted look on their face, wave me off and walk away.

Works everytime.
