Default Bubba Watson Should Run

for president as a Republican. He'd fit right in with Palin, Bachman, etc.

While he's certainly not going to be a nominee for President, you know that he's a Republican.

He gave $50,000 out of his own pocket for Tsunami relief in Japan. The only thing a Democrat would do is call for a tax on the 'rich' and demand that our government send funds to Japan. No self-respecting Democrat would donate out of his own pocket.

I certainly commend Bubba Watson for donating $50,000 to victims of the Japan earthquake.

While I do not know of other celebs donations to the Japan earthquake victims, I did tap into a website that showed some of the celeb donations for the Haiti earthquake. It shows Leonardo DiCaprio, George Clooney, Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt, Sandra Bullock and Madonna each donating $1 million. I believe all of these Hollywood stars are staunch Democrats. http://www.haitian-truth.org/leonard...sh-haiti-fund/

Political affiliation does not make a difference when donating to charity. People with either affiliation do a lot of good with charities - and the wonderful efforts of people in The Villages are a prime example.

I invite anyone to join me this year beginning around the week before Thanksgiving to be a Red Kettle Bell Ringer for the Salvation Army. If interested, just give me a PM.

Well, just in recent years, Obama has set the bar pretty high according to your standards for POTUS. Come on now.

Tbugs-- You have mentioned the Salvation Army, before. I consider it the very best charity. I feel like the vast majority of the money they raise actually goes for what it is suppose to go for. So many national charities spend 70 to 80 cents, on the dollar, on solicitation. Keep up the good work.
